Anushka Shetty is a famous Indian film actress, who mainly works in Telugu and Tamil films. She was born Saturday, 7 November 1981 to A. N. Vittal Shetty and his wife Prafulla. she has two elder brothers, Gunaranjan Shetty and Sai Ramesh Shetty.
She was educated at Mount Carmel College in Bangalore and earned a Bachelor of Computer Applications degree. After graduation, Sweety worked as a Yoga trainer. She was trained under Bharat Thakur, he is the founder of Artistic Yoga.
In 2015, Anushka made her acting debut with Puri Jagannadh’s Super movie, where she acted alongside Akkineni Nagarjuna, Ayesha Takia, and Sonu Sood. Sweety next acted in another Telugu film Mahanandi, opposite Srihari and Sumanth in the same year.
Anushka next starred in S. S. Rajamouli’s Vikramarkudu, where she shared screen space with Ravi Teja. The film was a big hit at the box office and She got much recognition, making her very popular in Telugu states.
Later, she acted in many hit movies like Astram (Telugu), Rendu (Tamil), Stalin (Telugu), Lakshyam (Telugu), Don (Telugu), Okka Magaadu (Telugu), Swagatam (Telugu), Baladur (Telugu), Souryam (Telugu), Chintakayala Ravi (Telugu ), and King (Telugu) in the following years.
In 2009, Anushka starred in the fantasy film Arundhati, under Kodi Ramakrishna’s direction. For the first time, She essayed a Dual role in this heroine-centric film. The film becomes one of the Biggest Hit in Telugu and South cinema by collecting more than 50 Cr gross at the worldwide box office. Sweety gained huge stardom across southern states with this movie.
