He was in news recently, as he was been arrested on allegations of raping a 14-year-old minor girl. He was arrested by Officials under the POCSO Act, IPC under section 376 (Punishment for sexual assault), and 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman).
As per officials, The girl used to call him ‘brother’ and Bhargav allegedly had different intentions. He lured her into sex and now she is pregnant. Her mother noticed changes in her body, only to realize that she is four months pregnant. They filed a case against Bhargav on 16-04-2021.
Police officials arrested the accused in Hyderabad, and since it’s a POCSO case, they have transferred it to the Disha Police in Visakhapatnam.
During a press meet, Disha Assistant Commissioner of Police Prem Kajal said that the accused had promised the survivor offers in media channels after seeing her in TikTok videos.
