Pawan Kalyan Padala is an Indian Army office was interested in acting and the entertainment field. Kalyan was born in middle class family and brought up in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh, India.
Since his childhood, Pawan was attracted to acting, but endedup as a soldier. After knowing about the selection of contestants to be part of the famous reality show Bigg Boss Telugu season 9, Pawan applied for it.
