Roja Goranttla is a Telugu TV newsreader who mainly works in Telugu Television Industry. She was born and bought up in Mahabubnagar, Telangana, India.
Roja did B. Tech (CSE) at Sree Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology & Science in Mahabubnagar. Roja then moved to Hyderabad to get a software job.
During this time, Roja went to meet her friend who is working as a newsreader on a channel. After seeing, the news reading, Roja was impressed and interested to become a newsreader. Roja then took training in news reading.
In 2013, Roja then applied for a news reader job on the TV5 channel and got selected on her first attempt. Roja started her career on TV5 as an Entertainment news anchor. She also gives movie updates in her weekend show Friday Boxoffice.
She is famous for celebrity interviews and has done many interviews with South Superstars like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Kicha Sudeep, Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, and many more.
In 2015, She won the “Best News Reader Award” at Aradhana Awards Function and In 2018, She won the “Best News Presenter Award” at Kakatiya Kala Vaibhavam.
In between, Roja also appeared as a newsreader in more than 50+ movies. She also played a small role as a lecturer in Jaya Janaki Nayaka.
