Sonakshi Kar is a singer and playback singer in the Indian Film Industry. She was born on Monday 23rd June 2003 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
Sonakshi did her schooling at Maharishi Vidya Mandir in Kolkata and then finished her intermediate in 2022. Since her childhood, Sonakshi was interested in singing. She then took classical music training from Jayant Sarkar and Semi-Classical music training from Deep Chakraborty.
In 2011, Sonakshi made her singing debut as a Contestant in the singing reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs ‘o n Zee Bangla. Sonakshi next participated in the ‘Indian Idol Junior 2013‘ and ended at the Top 6.
In 2017, Sonakshi participated in the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil Champs (Hindi) and ended as 1st Runner Up. In 2022, Sonakshi Participated in the famous singing reality show ‘Indian Idol Season 13‘.
