Akira Nandan Konidela was born on Thursday, April 8, 2004, in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He is the son of a popular Telugu actor, Politician, and founder of the Janasena Party, Pawan Kalyan, and his wife Renu Desai (M. 2009 – div. 12).

He has a younger sister named Aadhya Konidela. Recently, Akira finished his schooling at Indus International School, Hyderabad. In 2014, Akira first appeared in his mother’s directorial debut ‘Ishq Wala Love’ movie.

In 2023, Akira began his career as a Music director with a short film ‘Writer’s Block’.
