Ramu Rathod Biography:
Ramu Rathod is a famous folk singer from Gopalapur Khurd village located in the Mahbubnagar District, Telangana.
Since his childhood days, Ramu was intersested singing and dance for folk songs. His Father, Kishan Nayak also encouraged him to sing and dance. Later, Ramu was inspired from famous singer and writer Gorati Venkanna and started penning songs.
Ramu then started making songs like Sommasilli Pothunave, Yadho Maya Chesave, Ranu Bombai Ki, etc, on Youtube. With Ranu Bombai Ki song, Ramu broke many records with views on Youtube. Currently, Ranu Bombai Ki song gained morethan 515 Million views and gained morethan 1 crore rupes form him from youtube.
Recently, Ramu also received GAMA Best Folk Song of the Year for Ranu Bombai ki song. In 2025, Ramu is all set to roar in the Bigg Boss Telugu 9 show on Star Maa and Jio Hotstar.
