Rukmini Vasanth Biography:
Rukmini Vasanth is a South Indian actress from a Kannada-speaking family in Bangalore, Karnataka. She was born on Tuesday, 10th December 1996 in Bengaluru.
Her father, Colonel Vasanth Venugopal, was the first recipient of the “Ashoka Chakra” from Karnataka. Unfortunately, Colonel Vasanth Venugopal lost his life while trying to stop heavily armed infiltrators from crossing the India-Pakistan border at Uri, Jammu and Kashmir in 2007.
Rukmini’s mother, Subhashini Vasanth, is a skilled Bharatanatyam dancer who has established a foundation dedicated to supporting war widows in Karnataka.
Rukmini attended the Army School, Air Force School, and the Centre for Learning. She also earned a degree in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in Bloomsbury, London.
Rukmini debuted in the film industry with the Kannada movie “Birbal Trilogy, Case 1: Finding Vajramuni” where she acted alongside M. G. Srinivas. Rukmini then acted in a few movies like Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side A, Baanadariyalli, Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side B, Bagheera, and Bhairathi Ranagal.
In 2024, Rukmini Vasanth is all set to debut in Tollywood with Vijay Deverakonda‘s VD12 movie.
