Ankita Raina is an Indian Professional Tennis Player and she was born on Monday, January 11, 1993, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Since childhood, she used to play table Tennis. She was born and brought up in Ahmedabad and latermoved to Pune, Maharashtra at the age of 14 for better training in Tennis. She then joined PYC Hindu Gymkhana Tennis Academy in Pune and trianed under Hemant Bendrey.
