In 2021, at the 8th Indian National Championships, Gurpreet Singh won the men’s 50km race walk event by completing the race in 3 hours, 59 minutes and 42 seconds.
He then ranked 104 in the world in 50km race walk. With this rank, Gurpreet secured his berth at summer games at Tokyo Olympics.
Gurpreet never won any international events in his career, but passion and hard work have brought him to achieve the biggest achievement of his life, representing his country at the Olympics.
