Seema Bisla is an Indian wrestler and She represents India internationally in Freestyle wrestling in the 50 kg category. Bisla was born on Wednesday, April 14, 1993, in Rohtak, Haryana, India.
Bisla comes from a family of wrestlers and Her father and uncle were wrestlers and competed in the state and national levels.
In 2018, she made her international debut at the World Wrestling Championships held in Budapest (Hungary) but was knocked out in the first round of the 55kg women’s freestyle category.
In 2019, Seema again competed at the World Wrestling Championships and she was eliminated from the tournament after losing in the repechage round.
Two years later, in 2021, she won her first international medal by winning bronze in the women’s freestyle 50 kg category at the 2021 Asian Wrestling Championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan. With this medal, she secured her berth for summer games debut at the Tokyo Olympics 2021.
